Shoo.

Okay. I've been intending to write a post since a long time. Specially after my blog was spammed by some Chinese guy.

1. I'm on Facebook way too much these days. I'm pretty sure it's the reason I don't blog anymore.
2. I wrote most of my Common App essay today.
3. I'm kinda drained.

Anyway. This post shall be highly random.

Yesterday was an awesome day. :D
ZIO in the morning. It was much easier than I'd thought. Finished it in 2 hours. :D
After the exam, I walked from the exam center to the Subway at SDA multiple times. It wasn't a long walk. The weather was nice and warm. :) First I walked from the school to Subway to eat, then I walked back because the metro was right next to the school. Exactly at that time, Anurag and Vishesh got out of the center. Then I repeated the entire walk with Anurag, cause he wanted to eat and I wanted to roam.

Then I got back to my half-white-washed house. White-washing is irritating, but fun at times. Not only did I find some long lost treasures, but I also discovered new spider webs .

I also went to the Indian Habitat Center last night. With mausi, mausa and bhaiya. For once, I was doing nothing but staring at the photographs that they'd put on display. And walking around. IHC's beautiful, really. It's huge and really green. And you can buy awesome Chocolate Tarts at Eatopia.

So, Yesterday was awesome.

Now I shall get back to the Essay.

P.S. I find most TV Shows boring these days. :-/ I might have lost my sense of humour. OR Maybe it's the after-effect of watching Lost - Nothing seems as awesome anymore.

You were at LPS? Mighta dropped in... we were thinking of going to SDA to eat, felt too lazy, ordered more than we needed and by evening it had turned rancid. And I had a cold, so I discovered it only after everyone else asked me what was stinking up the room so bad :S

So where all are you applying?

Sakshi said...

Again, WHO ARE YOU?

Sakshi said...

Um Prachi? :-/

» sahil said...

How ... coincidental =)

Btw, congrats on getting the Common App essay (mostly) done; it's a big relief, isn't it?

I never ended up watching Lost. Hmm. I'm back to Chuck-watching nowadays =P

PS. Of course you know who Nyx is!

Sakshi said...

Wait, What?

1. WHAT is coincidental?
2. WHO is Nyx?

I feel so stupid.

And yes, 'tis. Though I'm sure the essay will undergo Mamta Sharma's heavy scrutiny.

Lost is AWESOME. You need to watch it. :D

I'm bored of Chuck, too! I think it's lame half the time. :(

I'll repeat Nyx's question - where all are you applying? And how did your SATs go? :)

Anurag Sahay said...

So does this mean you're going back to updating your blog full time?

sakshi said...

@Ankur:
MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Harvard, etc.
Basically top colleges that I'm pretty sure won't like me.
SAT's were fine, I guess. :-/

@Anurag:
I have No clue. I guess I'll be typing out awesome days?

My suggestion would be spread out your applications to a wider range of places. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Keep a few choices where you'll *definitely* get in, and a few that aren't so well-known in India but are excellent, top-ranked colleges such as UIUC, UC system colleges, GaTech, et al.

@Sakshi: Arrey, coincidental = the fact that you posted after such a long time.

I guess you know the answer to the second question already =P

I dunno, I'm kinda liking Season 4 so far.

Btw, about the admissions thingy, let me know in case you need any help. And as for the spreading out apps thing, from what I remember of what you told me [quite] some time ago, you had reason not to, but I think it's worth considering.

All the best though! =)

O.o
New post after so long.:P

I don't watch tv too, so I don't have any suggestions to give. But that is mostly due to the absence of a tv in my hostel. But I used to watch Phineas and Ferb before that. And CWG games. :D
And Time Warp on Discovery. And movies.

sakshi said...

@Sahil :
Ah. Silly Me.
And, thanks a ton. :) I'll get back to you whenever I need help.

@Espera :
Yes, It's been long. :-/
Time Warp is Nice.
I should probably check out Phineas and Ferb. Never watched it. :(

Since I started blogging in the middle of your long blogging-hiatus, I should tell you that I'm Mini. I don't want a repeat of the whole Nyx episode.

Nice to see you writing again. It'd be even nicer if you were more regular, but hey, no pressure. =P

Also, I don't understand how anyone can get bored of TV shows, and I don't even watch Lost. Though I do need to start watching Chuck sometime soon, since everyone around me keeps going on about how awesome it is :)
