"I know his name!"

Yeah, totally. I can proudly say that I know the name of all the people in my class. Justifying the "his" part of the title to Namya, all I'm gonna say is that since there are just 8 females in my class, it's no biggie knowing their names. BUT there are so many dudes that their names are kinda confusing. Hey, I even know the name of the dude from North East India! :D

So, my new class? Originally had 41 people, then the population fell down to 34 and now I _think_ it's 37. Got a hell lot of people from X-L, who are entertaining but like to stay within their own group of friends (can't blame them though). Got a hell lot of newbies (did I mention I know all their names?). Had 7 people from my beloved class, now has 4. Sobhagya, Shashank, Suchali, Sonia. Got a lot of hostellers, so basically the class is nearly empty during break (I was pretty surprised to know that they had to go to the hostel in the break to eat!).

But somehow school is generally fun. In the morning Chandrika more than lightens up the bus (in fact, she kinda wakes up everyone who's sleeping just by her excited voice); in the class I feel highly amused if someone sleeps off in class (or the teacher wakes up some dude while going out of the class. Yup, it's happened twice) or even if I end up doing coaching work under the teacher's nose (ah well).

And. That. Would. Be. All. For. Now.

Hopefully next time I'll come up with a better way to end a post. ;D

Adios, people (really, anyone left who reads my blog?)

(BTW, that's not a problem. I'll make sure my old readers read this. Kudos.)

What criteria is used to assign sections to students?

» sahil said...

Haha, I ALWAYS use to learn up the names of all the people in my class :D

@ankur: Stream. And usually they average out the percentages of the internals.
(In science, at least, if not more, than half the class is usually made of externals).

What's the big deal with learning names anyway? It's not that hard...

@Anurag: :P I guess you do. I had to tell you anyway, you asked me to "make it work" with my blog, didn't you?

@Ankur: Ah well, if one of the dude's name is Ningombam Chinglesana, then probably not so easy. Besides, what I also meant was that I'm on talking terms with everyone. That usually doesn't happen within a week.

@Sahil: I feel surprisingly _proud_ when I know someone's name as of now. :P

But this time there _Was_ no criteria for the sections. They just sorta did it roll number wise. Probably randomly put in the new students.

why is everyone taking inspiration from my 'update once a month' philosophy? though i think it's been 5 or something now, actually.
and i don't know the name of everyone in class yet. will make effort tomorrow!

@Namya: Please.

Sakshi said...

As in, not "please" get to know them, but "please", i'm not taking inspiration from you. :P
