Blogging for the heck of it

Yeah, here I am, doing it again. Got a project deadline tomorrow(supposed to have been submitted today) which I'm finally gonna start tomorrow and submit day after. I am, yes, taking a leave.

This is probably something shitty to talk about, just look at the title again.

I have, yet again, deduced that Limewire really isn't safe. I mean, if you're dumb enough to download a song that matches your search words exactly and has a really small size, then your computer is gone before you can do just about anything about it. But guys I downloaded movies that looked normal and well sized. Apparently, *one* of them had a virus and my computer refused to stay on for more than 5 minutes, which is a total tragedy coz if takes 3 minutes to boot anyway. Sigh. Sigh. But wonderfully, now it's okay. I had downloaded Dark Knight(kudos), Hancock, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and 50 First Dates. I deleted Hancock and Mr. and Mrs. Smith as a desperate attempt to not destroy the only data I have left on this computer(my hdd crashed *sometime* back). So yeah, overall, not a very good gadget time.

And honestly, why are people so desperate to make their facebook or orkut or hi5 profiles look good?(Ahem). I mean, how can you be mad enough to ask people to write on your wall, or blah? Really, it bugs me. Quite a bit.

My sister and a few of her friends landed up at school today. I showed them my class, and started telling them about what all destruction has been taking place, in my class. Let's see-- the top window shattered by a football, the tubelight broken by an empty coke bottle (I still don't believe it happened. But it did), the metal cupboard half broken, broken chairs, etc. Yeah, I love my class. =D Speaking of which, the guys (surprisingly) won the football semi-finals. And now they've got the finals against some Vasant Vihar section. ;)

I and Lakshay were the SOTM's last month. We couldn't help laughing at Namya and KK(funny pair, and yeah, this month's sotm's) who had to do all the answering when the glass got broken a few days back and when, today, the tubelight did. Thankfully no one got hurt. Seriously thankfully.

Oh yeah. The supposed doomsday today. Ha! We didn't study at all in the last period, some people were constantly talking about how and why they didn't want to die. But, when I think about it, I really won't mind if the entire world dies. Or if the entire world continues to live. It's only when some one person dies that u actually feel bad, right? Only that then whenever life comes back to earth, or anywhere else, the poor dude's are gonna have to start from scratch. I mean, who knows how long it will take them to realize that there could be something like the WWW? ;)

Did you read about the girl who committed suicide because she thought that the world was about to end? And incidentally, the world couldn't have ended in the last period anyway because (a) the first round was completed at 2 pm (b) they weren't colliding particles at that time anyway.

Your sis came to school? Ohh ... I'd have like to have met her ...

I did not read about that female.. Sigh.. Weird, people are... And alright, so I did not know the details of the experiment.. But it led to general amusement.. =)

My sister came during the stay back time... For that workshop thing with Raman Bhaiya..

Pirate Bay, anyone?

How did you post this, by the way?

Vasant Vihar section? ... Oh. For a moment there, I thought you meant they had it against ten-year-olds.

And project deadline? Being what you are, namely, a tenthie, why do you even bother to keep track of this stuff?

@anonymous: really, what?

@prachi: well u have no idea how serious my teacher was about it.. big surprise, she wasn't mad at all when no one submitted it.. ;P and she gave a week's extension.. but it felt good to be taking a leave for practically nothing.. :)
