Advise?
I need a name. For my guitar. It's red and black. I thought of er "saphira" :P but it's not blue. And I thought of "red fire" but it's not er.. fire-type....
See, a lot of people name their guitars, it's quite normal. And its not like I'm gonna talk to it or look or it like that. Double :P. But its generally a sweet thing to do.
I don't blame u for thinking its stupid, namya. But betty, funny. I mean, I *feel* like naming my guitar.
We-ll, I have a guitar. And it's not called anything. When I refer to it, I say, "my guitar" and everybody understands. But if you insist, how about Erif? (reads 'Fire' ulta karke)
Conroy sounds good actually... quite regal. Rufus sounds like a robin to anybody who's read Enid Blyton (which is everybody). Not a guitar. And erm... Scarlett reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara and the whole "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" thing.
Yup, that Rufus the robin who the worms from the cabbages! Who doesn't remember that?
Actually, even though it's not fire-type, like you say, Erif is a cam and composed name. Somewhat Mediterranean villager. I dunno. It seems like that to me.
Conroy sounds unlike a guitar however. Wht did you decide finally?
21 Wisecracks:
'The Devil'? Or maybe 'The Devil's Strings' or something like that. Red reminds me of the devil. What is it, an electric guitar?
I remember naming mine, what was that? Oh yeah,'Michael Sirius Black'!
It's an acoustic guitar.... Would have looked sorta stupid trying to start my guitaring with an electric one...
Betty, well, i SHOULD have guessed... There goes the big S.B. fan.
Yeah, it DOES sound like the devil, try a linguistic variant. Or call it Viper.
On second thought, don't. Could be mistaken for Wiper.
lol.
Viper/Wiper crossed out.
that was me.
Why would you name your guitar? Silly thing to do.
Ummm, very little offence to Betty here.
Betty, I read ur comment. Came on my mail.

Conclusion:
I suck at convincing.

Nice, sampoorna, honestly.
But the thing is, as I said, it isn't the fire type. It gives a very calm and composed look... Ahem.
Okay, if you can't use Saphira what about Corunda? (Assuming your guitar's female.)
how about..... RED!
will suit completely.....

How about Scarlett? Even Rufus means red. 'Conroy' means wise and red in Irish. (my bro told me once his doggie's name)

Brilliant. Coz I agree with Yottabyte.
So the only NICE name I can't use coz it's the name of a bally dog.
LOL. Wonder why anybody would waste a great name like that on a dog.
u can call it dusk or maybe dawn
might suit its looks
though scarlets a really nice option
